Me and My Journey

My journey as a body therapist began in the world of dance, where I first discovered the profound power of the body’s self-expression and creativity. Dance became a means to connect and this profound experience introduced me to the transformative potential of movement.

Training and specialization

Study of the Ilan Lev Method, deepened my understanding of effortless movement and the joy of releasing tension. It gave rise to the body's natural flow playfulness, and freedom of movement.
Seeking a more formal foundation of knowledge, I pursued a university degree in science and physiotherapy. This provided a deeper understanding of the body mechanics. I worked in a number of medical institutions and gained experience treating individuals from diverse backgrounds and age groups in many areas of physical rehabilitation.

My clinical toolkit has been complemented by postgraduate training in lymphatic therapy, sports therapy, and hydrotherapy, which have expanded my therapeutic practice.

Mindfulness-based approches

Life experience has also shown me the transformative benefits of meditation and yoga.

These practices have offered me support and have greatly enriched my clinical approach.

I recognized the advantage of integrating mindfulness into my work and thus pursued two courses in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with my meditation guide and teacher, Dr. Galia Taney. I have since found that integrate mindfulness-based approaches into my practice has benefitted my clients healing and personal growth processes.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

In my continual exploration of embodiment ,body somatics and its inherent power to facilitate healing, I turned to Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.

This method has deepened my understanding of how the body can find safety and restoration. Through this somatic practice, I’ve learned how to create a nurturing space where individuals can connect with their body’s innate wisdom and begin their journey of transformation.

Thing that have supported me along my journey:

  • Psychedelics journeys

  • Psychotherapy

  • Practice of mindfulness and meditation

  • Relational work as a practice through life

“If your everyday practice is to open to your emotions, to all the people you meet, to all the situations you encounter, without closing down, trusting that you can do that - then that will take you as far as you can go. And then you’ll understand all the teachings that anyone has ever taught.”
